Golden Tachometer Award - Benchmark Reviews
"EVGA GTX 660 SC's extremely quiet operation is due to Kepler's super-efficient cores that consume less energy and emit less heat than previous designs, earning my confidence that GeForce GTX 660 will continue to impress gamers the same way that GeForce 8800 GT did four years ago."

EVGA Frostbite Thermal Grease - Back to top
Gold Award - TechREACTION
"From our observations, eVGA has a great product on their hands. During my Gulftown CPU testing on LN2, the Frostbite was a clear winner compared to Ceramique, allowing me to run higher clock speeds and lower voltages, a win-win scenario. With the GPU testing on dry ice, however, there was very little apparent difference with my vGPU limited situation. With higher voltage (more heat load) and LN2 on the GPUs, we suspect the Frostbite would be just as impressive as it was with the CPU testing."

EVGA 580 Classified - Back to top

"We were able to get more of an overclock on this card than we have seen on our other GTX 580’s, but we barely scratched the surface of what it’s truly capable of. If the price different between this card and a standard 3Gb GTX 580 wasn’t so close I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone other than professional overclockers. But the reality is this card as it sits today is $10 more than a standard card. For $10 you are getting a card that is built to be pushed to the limit and should have no problem running for a very long time at the loads the average gamer is going to put it under. You are also getting upgraded cooling at still continues to (mostly) push the hot air out of the back and support from EVGA who actually encourages you to overclock the card!"

Golden Tachometer Award - Benchmark Reviews
"EVGA has definitely designed an overclocking beast and with LN2 have alread passed the 1.6GHz mark. For us mere mortals who just want to use a traditional air cooling EVGA pretty much nailed it, they have the extra cooling the overclockers demand without the negatives of a huge tri-slot card that dumps all of its heat into a user's case."

"The card especially exceeded my expectations on ambient cooling by a long shot. Not to mention I was limited by a low core voltage of 1.32 V while sub zero, so I'm confident this card has a lot left in the tank. In my opinion, the GTX580 Classified has earned the right to be in the top tier of GTX580 graphics cards."

"The card comes factory overclocked for you, where a regular GTX 580 has a 772 MHz base frequency and 4000 effective data-rate on the memory, EVGA brings that number up-to 855 MHz on the base clock and 4212 MHz on the memory, we find that a very nice factory overclock for a card of this stature. Any modern game to date at even the highest resolutions will not be a real issue. Make no mistake though, this is a grand product to own and I honestly hope you realize how much effort EVGA put in this product."
